Tikal Entrance to the archaeological site is Q150. If you buy the ticket after 3pm it is valid for the next day as well. El Zotz A 1 day hike from Tikal. You will have to camp at the ruins overnight and return the next morning. You will need to go with a guide as there is no path through the jungle. guides can be arranged at Tikal, El Remate and Flores. Usual price is around Q150. You will need to supply and carry your own camping equipment, food and water. There is no entrance fee for the ruins. Uaxactun A walking distance from the villageThe Maya site of Uaxactun. There is no entrance fee. But not less Intresting. See the transport Tikal section for getting there. There is a private collection of artefacts from the site at the local guesthouse. Ask the owner if you may view them. |
