The town of Rama marks the point where
the road to the east ends. From Rama any
towns further east such as Bluefield must
be reached by boat. The town itself is
situated at the point where two rivers meet
and most of the daily life of its inhabitants is
centered around the river.

The area around Rama is peaceful and
beautiful tropical forest and the best way to
see it is by boat. Boats of all kinds pass
through Rama, from 500-foot cargo ships to
small dugout canoes.
