San Juan del Sur is on the southern Pacific coast of Nicaragua. it is surrounded by a number of beautiful beaches, popular with surfers. Starting off as a peaceful fishing village it has become increasing touristy in recent years. A popular holiday spot for Nicaraguans as well as foreigners. There is no bank in San Juan del Sur. You can get money out in nearby Rivas. There are several internet cafes in San Juan del Sur, charging around US$1.50 an hour. Sights Fishing Prices vary depending on the package. You can also rent kayaks for around US$ 15 per day. Location next to the Casa oro. Arena Caliente rent surfboards for around US$ 10 a day. Refugio de Vida Silvestre La Flor 20 km south of San Juan del Sur, this beach is an important nesting site for the Olive Ridley turtle. The best time to see them is between July and January. You are allowed to sleep on the beach but there is no food available. There is a US$ 5 entrance fee.
